What we collect

gennyguide is a static website of free generator guides and a sizing calculator. The appliances and numbers you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

Cookies & analytics

gennyguide itself uses no tracking cookies. A theme preference (light or dark) may be stored locally in your browser; it never leaves your device. Where analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that only counts aggregate page views and does not identify you.

Advertising

gennyguide may show ads through Google AdSense. Advertising partners such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can review and control ad personalization in your Google account settings, and learn more in Google's own privacy and advertising policies.

Affiliate links

Some pages include affiliate links to retailers and service marketplaces (clearly labelled as ads). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or request a quote, gennyguide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Pages may link to external sources and partners (clearly marked). Those sites have their own privacy policies. gennyguide does not sell or share data we don't collect.

Your state privacy rights

Because gennyguide does not itself collect or sell personal information, there is little of yours held on our own servers for a rights request to act on. If you have a request related to a partner site you were referred to (Amazon, or an installer-matching partner), contact that partner directly — their own privacy policy governs data they collect.
